at Larcomar
I am truly loving Lima, or as my friend calls it, fake Lima. The food has been delicious
and the people seem very friendly. I was pretty happy to see a flower stand just down
the road from where we will be living. I love to have fresh flowers in the house and will
make it my goal to go buy fresh flowers once a week. The dollar here can go far and
I am loving that too. Our apartment will be within walking distance to Larcomar,
which is one of the malls here in Miraflores. You can find a lot of good restaurants and
entertainment for AJ. And I love that it is along the water. The view of the ocean
from every restaurant is spectacular. So Lima is broken into districts and we are
in the Miraflores district. This area is one of the nicest and safest. Nannies are
very common in this area and there are even nannies for dogs (see picture above).
I can't wait to have a nanny so that we can visit these restaurants.

I will be back tomorrow to show you pictures of the Inka Market, the
place to find deals on baby alpaca blankets and other cool things.
