Guest Necessities

We are having our first guest in our new house tomorrow. The guest happens to be

my wonderful mother-in-law. We are pretty excited for her to see the house for the first time

and to visit with her once again. I can't wait to hear her ideas!

Every time we move, I tell myself that I will make the guest bedroom inviting and comforting.

Providing our guests with basic necessities is a must of course, but this time I want to go

above and beyond of my normal and create that dream guest bedroom of mine. Especially,

since our guest bedroom happens to have an on-suite bathroom - I am making it a 

priority this time around.

Here is what that dream guest bedroom of mine would include:

1. A comforting bed with a pretty neutral palette.

2. Nice linens.

3. A stack of pretty magazines.

4. Fresh flowers in a pretty vase. Extra points for peonies.

5. A luxurious candle such as this one - my favorite, thus far.

The on-suite bathroom must have:

1. Pretty towels.

2. A tray to hold their toiletries and jewelry.

3. Pretty tortoise toothbrushes in case the guest happens to forget his/her.

4. And hopefully someday, a pretty bowl full of these.
