My handsome boys on Easter.

I couldn't keep my small orchid alive so I replaced it with a small succulent that

I hope proves to be resistant to my not so green thumb.

Finally after a couple of months the built-ins are being installed.

The hubby was pleasantly surprised at how easy and smooth this project has gone so far.

We still need to add the base board, trim, and the crown moulding. We are 

tackling that this coming weekend. The final step will be to add the books and begin

styling the shelves. I can't wait!

As I mentioned in this post, I tackled this diy driftwood wreath last weekend as well.
I am loving the beach-y and rustic feel it will add to the family room.

We have been busy around here tackling some projects and I will soon be styling

our new built-ins and hanging the driftwood wreath. I am so excited that our

family room is getting close to being done. I have been waiting for this for quite some

time. Next on the to-do for our family room is to greywash our coffee table to

bring in another layer of rustic.
