New Balance Contest from Online Shoes {come vote for me!}
Back in February I was approached by OnlineShoes.com to be a
participant in the New Balance 993 contest where I was tasked to design
my own pair of sneakers. I bet from yesterday's post, you would have never
guessed the design was for a pair of sneakers. I immediately jumped on this opportunity
but I was having a hard time deciding how to go about designing it. As I showed you
yesterday, I decided that an inspiration board would be very helpful and it really

So as I said in the title of this post, this is a contest and I need your votes.

My end goal for the design was to keep them simple with a hint of color so that
they serve the purpose of more than just a running sneaker. I wanted to be able to
"dress" them up a bit for running errands comfortably, yet stylish.
I added a monogram to my sneakers too.
