How To Care for Your Beach Essentials

Some of you may be going on Spring break this week and may have plans to spend
some time at the beach in warmer climates. I wish that was me, but I shall wait until
our weather warms up to enjoy the beach or our vacation in Florida this summer.
And I. Can't. Wait! I can't wait to actually wear a swimsuit and feel normal. You see last
summer I had just had Ella Sofia so my body was nothing near beach-ready.
This summer my body should be and I am ecstatic about that.

In the past couple of years, I have invested in some beach essentials that deserve
to be properly cared for. I tend to neglect them once the "newness" of them wears
off, but not anymore. I have invested in pieces that I truly love and
my goal is to prolong their lifetime.
Here are some tips on how to take care of these beach essentials.
// swimwear // Despite what the label says, always hand wash them and air dry.
The only exception is after many wears or vacation you can place them inside a
lingerie bag and wash in the washing machine in the gentle cycle with a
delicate detergent and air dry. {source, #87}

and I found this article to be very helpful.
// straw hat // This hat came with me from South America last year and
I plan on properly taking care of it. For tips on how to clean it read this article.
So there you have it. A few tips that I hope you will turn to when
caring for your beach essentials.
Happy Spring Break to those of you on your vacation!
I on the other hand, will be celebrating doing some spring cleaning.
