Blogging Basics Part 2 {Taking Care of Business}
Happy Tuesday! For today's topic, I thought another Taking Care of Business post was needed and today I am writing about more blogging tips. I finally managed to take a few minutes and put together a graphic with some more blogging tips as I had promised. This Taking Care of Business series is very dear to my heart. I honestly love sharing what I have learned over the past three years of blogging, not just to share for the sake of sharing, but hopefully to inspire, motivate, or simply help those of you who blog or want to start a blog. It's just information based on my own experience of blogging. I am not going to go one by one as I think the graphic above explains it, but I will highlight Tip 8, Tip 10 and Tip 11. If you feel like other tips need more, leave a comment and I will happily update this post.
Tip 8: Charge what you are worth. This is more for sponsored posts. Many companies/brands may contact you, but don't comprise yourself or your blog. Make sure you charge for your time to create content and graphics. And make sure the companies/brands fit with your aesthetic.
Tip 10: Evolve. Grow. Learn. Be true to yourself. If you like this tip, then check out my print at Society 6.
Tip 11: It's okay to say no to sponsored posts, to guest posts, to advertisements. If something doesn't fit with your own aesthetic standards then feel okay about saying no.
