Happy Monday! The day after Thanksgiving we are headed to Asheville, NC and spending a couple of nights at a cozy cabin to relax, enjoy the outdoors, visit Biltmore, and just have some family quality time. It seems like these last few weeks of the holidays is zooming by already and I need to take a breather to enjoy my favorite time of the year. Real life has been busy and getting sick last week was not on the agenda. I feel like I am already behind on so many things, but sometimes it's good to slow down when its completely unplanned. Although now I am completely playing catch up with household chores, Thanksgiving shopping, this blog and work. Anyway, I am so excited for this little getaway and I know the kiddos are going to love it as well. For today's good things post, I thought I would feature some of my favorite things, some things I am packing, and some on my wish list. And as I am spending time in the woods a pair of boots, a fur earband, and flannel pajamas are an absolute must as well. I am also making homemade sugar cookies to pack and savor them with a big cup of hot chocolate by the fire this weekend. I hope you enjoy today's good things!
