Valentine's Day Cupcakes
This past weekend I showed you via instagram the making of these cupcakes as inspired by Mandy of Waiting on Martha. I wasn't planning on sharing the recipe, but a reader asked so I gladly obliged. The funny thing is I didn't make a thing from scratch, but you could if you are feeling motivated. I do try and do my baking from scratch, but there are some days that easy and simple just sounds better. My favorite homemade funfetti cake can be found here and my favorite marshmallow butter cream frosting here.
Ingredients
1 box of Valentine's Funfetti cake mix
1 - 2 containers of vanilla frosting
1 bag of Hershey's kisses {I used the raspberry white chocolate combo}
Sprinkles of choice
1. Follow the instructions on the box for mixing the batter.
2. Line your cupcake pans with liners.
3. Place a Hershey kiss in the middle as shown in this photo.
4. Fill each liner {with the kiss} 3/4 full and place in the oven.
5. Follow the baking instructions on your cake mix box.
6. Cool completely.
7. Decorate as you wish.
