Weekend Memo

The day has arrived and we are making the trek up to DC. We will actually first be spending a few days in Fredericksburg, but this is new territory for me and I can't wait to explore. The Cherry Blossom Festival started last week and I'm glad we will there for some of it. While most of the blossoms are expected to bloom in mid-April, I hope I get lucky and see some. Aside from museum hopping and the Cherry Blossom Festival, I'm hoping to get to try some of these places and meet up with Natalie and Ashlyn. So that's pretty much the agenda for the trip.I'm hoping to get some good photos to share on instagram. I thought I used to be a more of an autumn girl, but I'm turning into a spring girl. I'm loving seeing the pear and magnolia trees blooming in my own town.Peony season is near . . . another reason to love spring. I'm hoping to visit the local peony farm soon after I get back from DC.House hunting in Miami . . . later this season we will be making our way to Miami to look at potential rentals. We are dropping off the kids with the MIL and I can't wait to explore the city with the husband.Have a happy weekend and spring break!source
