Weekend Memo

As I was window shopping the other day, I stumbled upon the perfect holiday dress {and it was half off!}. The color is perfect and I'm so glad once the holiday cocktail party invites start rolling in, I won't have to stress over what to wear. The other thought that came to mind was how I should really start shopping for Christmas gifts now. Is this type of talk to early for you? If you know me, you know that when September comes, I'm already thinking of all the holiday fun that's about to come.But getting back to this month, next week our dining table should be topped with marble. Yay! I can't wait. Our current table top has been broken since we moved back from South America. That's three and a half years now that we've been eating on it with a broken top. Yup, I've also hosted some parties in its current state, but thank goodness table linens hid that from view. Anyway, hopefully soon I'll have some photos of the dining room to share with you. It's still far from being complete, but progress is progress.
