A Fall Family Picnic

Miami weather can be beautiful during this time of year. And what's a better way to enjoy the outdoors, than with a family picnic. Taking advantage of this low-humidity day, we set out to enjoy a picnic at our local park with some of our favorite picnic-friendly snacks - cheese, bread and crackers, grapes, olives, nuts, and a burrata and prosciutto flatbread. All things that I already had either in the pantry, freezer, or fridge. And in case you're wondering, I've already mastered the act of toting all of this.Now let's talk about our shoes, because this post should be all about them. My new metallic Chuck Taylor All Stars are a lovely, light shade of gold - kind of festive if you ask me, and perfect for the holiday season. I'm already planning to wear them with striped tees, embellished sweaters, and maybe even dressing them up with a blazer. And as the weather gets colder, I'll be adding some socks to keep my feet warm. By the way, I would suggest grabbing a size down as they run big.My son's Sperry Top-Sider Landyards are versatile year-round. The darker color is perfect for fall/winter while the lighter accents are ideal for spring/summer. It's a preppy shoe that he can wear to school or even to Sunday mass, but, as shown above, it's a great shoe for everyday, casual wear. The reviews online are great too!
