Garance Doré Book Launch At Club Monaco

I was honored to attend the Garance Doré book launch cocktail event at Club Monaco in Miami. The highlight of the night as I stated on instagram, was drinking and chatting with the lovely author. We talked about real life things, such as her possible upcoming engagement, how her fiancé frequently visits North Carolina {the state where we used to live}, and we found common ground when we shortly touched on the subject of how difficult it can be to when your significant other travels too much - in my case the hubby, and for her - she's the one doing most of the travel these days.

She was lovely, approachable, and she made sure to meet all of her fans. I left the event even a bigger fan.

The drinks were a lovely concoction of Contreau, club soda or Perrier, a squeeze of lime juice and cucumber and lime slices.

I'm happy to say I walked away with beautiful pinch-me moments, and a signed book. It definitely was an unforgettable night and one major highlight of 2015.
