Home Update: A Minted Holiday

evemattress-saramuellerFor the past 5 months, most of our walls have stood empty. With every new move, comes a new-to-us house, and sometimes it can be hard to make the old fit in - especially when you downsize from 2,500 sq. ft to just about 1,500. The other big dilemma we faced is that this house has wall-to-wall sliding doors in every room of the house so that means we also shrunk on wall space. But, we gained a lot of natural light {although it's been quite cloudy lately}.

So, when the chance to partner with Minted came, I jumped at the opportunity to finally get some art on the walls.

In our tiny almost nonexistent entry, a little wee print was added to bring some life to the space, because normally we don't have a wreath hanging on the door. I'm hoping to tackle painting the interior of the door once the new year comes around. I think that will revive the space too.

Above our bar cart in the dining room, a neutral print adds a new layer, but doesn't make the room look cluttered. This piece may just be my favorite.

Since our kitchen counterspace is limited, we had to create a coffee station next to our pantry. Oh, the things you do in small spaces. This black and white print added a little whimsy to the space.

In our living room, this 2-piece gallery wall makes me happy. Since we live in Miami, I also wanted to incorporate some tropical and beach touches to our decor.
