Merry Christmas
This is the first Christmas we haven't traveled to visit family. It actually felt nice. I was a little worried I would miss being surrounded by family, but it turned out to be a lovely respite from traveling during the holidays. It also made sense to stay home since the kids both received some pretty big gifts from Santa this year. The one thing I'm missing though is our yearly day trip to Savannah the day after Christmas. And I should also say that Christmas in 80-degree weather felt a bit odd, but we've made the best of it.
This month, we've enjoyed our usual Christmastime traditions - baking Christmas cookies, the making of our gingerbread house, trimming the tree, and watching our favorite holiday movies. And that's the best part -- that no matter where in the world we are, we always have our traditions to look forward to.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for your continued support. I sincerely appreciate every time you take a moment to comment or to like a photo. You've become an extension of my family and for that I will be forever grateful.
Merry Christmas my dear friends!
