Michelle Adams' Michigan Home
I'm sure you've already seen Michelle Adams' fabulous and timeless Michigan home, but I couldn't resist sharing it here. And I'm pretty sure you'll see it pop up many more times in the blogosphere and Pinterest. I've been a long time fan -- since her early days in Domino. I've also been following the progress of her Michigan home and I've been very impatiently waiting for this reveal. So it brings me great pleasure to finally see her home tour published.
A fact I found very interesting from reading the House Beautiful article is that she says that almost every mom from her neighborhood took photos of their trick-or-treaters in front of her house. I think I would have too! It's picture perfect! Throughout most of her home she used Ralph Lauren Paint's Tibetan Jasmine, because as she says, it's "the color of practically every Ralph Lauren showroom worldwide {because how can you go wrong with that?}." Now I know what color to use on our forever home whenever that day comes.
To decorate her space, she focused on a timeless feel instead of trendy. But to fulfill her senses as a well-traveled designer, she layered art, vibrant textiles, and her ever-rotating collection of lighting and objects.
What's your favorite room or thing from her home? My favorites are her living room {I want a marble mantle just like that}, her kitchen, and the peeks of her bluestone backyard patio.
To read and see more of her space head on over to House Beautiful.
