To A New Year & A New Beginning
One of my goals this year, is to make more time for me. But that's so much more easier said than done. So baby steps, right? My sickness in December was sort of a blessing in disguise. It made me realize that on the seventh day of still feeling pretty sick, I really don't take care of myself. Everyone else comes first, and before I know it the day is gone and there's no time to do things for me. For breakfast, I'm usually eating the kids' leftovers, and as far as exercise goes, if I can get a good walk, that's usually a win.
So in 2016, I'm making time for me. I'm working on updating the master bedroom with a few new things, and I'm also hoping to tackle the disorganized state of my desk -- all to create areas that can inspire me to be more creative and productive, but also feel refreshed. I'll be sure to document my little home updates and share here with you.
In health and beauty news, I'm starting spinning classes and I hope I can stick with it throughout the year. For breakfast, I'm back drinking healthy fruit smoothies. And I've started a new beauty regime. During the holidays I noticed my skin could use a refresh, so I invested in this new daily peel and I've already noticed a big difference.
So here's to the new year and new beginnings!
