A Bedroom Update with Serena & Lily

Our master bedroom has become one of my favorite rooms in the house. And this weekend it got a little makeover with some of the new fall collection items from Serena & Lily. It went from white linen bedding to this beautiful grey, cotton bedding that's super soft. The room sort of transitioned into a new season with the grey bedding, but it's still light enough to be airy and my calming oasis.

To debut the new look, I created this cozy scene to enjoy the new bedding and snuggle up with the softest most beautiful throw. And really some Sundays should look just like this. By the way, the throw is made of baby alpaca wool which is softer than cashmere.

I also took advantage of the opportunity to clean the house and declutter a bit this weekend. I've realized that when I wake up to a clean house on Mondays, the day and week for that matter go so much better -- because a clean and decluttered house means a decluttered mind.
