Weekend Memo No. 138

While I feel like we're still a bit house trapped, it's so nice to be so close to Georgetown. I can't wait to have more time to explore more of this charming and quaint city. It makes me happy, however, that we have managed to take a few quick trips to either furniture shop or pick up some goodies from our favorites stores. Of course, we picked up a baguette from Dean & Deluca and a box of cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake.

Although the weather has been on the hotter side {not quite as Miami hot}, we were blessed with a 75-degree day on Tuesday -- rainy, but cooler. It was so nice to wake up to temps in the 60's and we immediately started brainstorming what to make for dinner in this cooler weather. We decided on Ina Garten's Coq au Vin. It was so good! It felt like a gorgeous Fall day!

We also escaped to the movies and took the kids to watch The Lion King. It was so good! I almost cried. Highly recommend!

Weekend Memo

In case you missed it . . . avocado toast recipe, beauty favorites, and this outfit post.

Home things. I've started its own page for things I'm buying or wanting.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I really don't buy much during this sale, but I always get a few beauty products. I bought this Chanel pouch that comes with a mascara and primer, this limited edition Chanel powder, and this La Mer travel set.

On the Pelaton bandwagon. And I couldn't be more excited! I love spinning and it will be so great to do this from the comfort of my own home. This wasn't a decision we just jumped on. My husband is a cyclist, so we'll both be using it. Plus, it gets a bit difficult and unsafe to cycle in bad weather, so come winter he'll be able to cycle from home. We've watched so many reviews on YouTube, and also one of our friends has one. It's been highly recommended. The app is what makes it so much better than any other workout equipment out there. If you're interested, use this code to buy one RNBRT3.

Fitness essentials. I just bought my first pair of Lululemon leggings after reading several reviews on workout leggings. I went with these as they buttery-soft and made of a fabric that wicks sweat. I also ordered this Garmin heart rate monitor that will keep my stats in order. I'll be dedicating a full post to my fitness essentials along with reviewing the Peloton bike.

A new little white top. Because a girl can never have too many.

What to cook this weekend.

Wise Words.
