A New Look

By now you obviously noticed the new look of this blog. A new look has been due for quite some time now. About two years ago I contacted someone to do a redesign of my blog and somehow after paying the full amount it never happened. While I was patiently waiting for my blog redesign a year ago, I contacted Jessica about getting a new header for the blog. I didn't want to spend too much as I had already given a full payment for a blog design to someone else. Jessica was wonderful to work with and so talented. After two years, I finally got my full refund just a month ago.

Which brings me to today. I have been teaching myself blog design to create a blog I love and to make it what I have been dreaming of making it. I have neglected the blog in the past I will admit, but it has grown with me and it has become a part of my life. I want this blog to reflect who I am and be the pretty place I come to share with you my many obsessions on fashion, interior design, food, travel, and lifestyle. I am so happy with the way it looks now and I can tell you that I did it all myself,
except for the beautiful illustration of me drawn by the very talented Linda. Contact her for your illustration needs. Thanks to Taylor for sharing her source. I am making a few more small custom changes soon.

I am also rebranding. I put together this board to give myself a plan on how to go about the redesign of my blog. Obviously the illustration of me was a big part of the color scheme, but there were a few other images that played a role in the redesign of this blog. I love the way Angela lays out her blog redesigns, so I took that as a guide to help me transform my blog. I also designed new business cards which will be sent to be printed soon. I can't wait to share them with you!
