Weekend Memo {+ Sales}
This week I read an article about how bloggers are losing their originality and all blogging about the same things. In some ways that's true I guess, but I do love the blogs that stay true to their own voice. The hardest thing about blogging though is finding your voice and I think I finally found mine a few months back. And we all at some point or another may face writer's block, and now instagrammer's block. I have struggled with it, with both actually, and when I go through a period of it, I feel so down and I do anything to snap out of it. It's not a good feeling, but I think this is a time when I need to get out for fresh air and just live life. As I said in the past, this year I wanted to bring in more originality to the blog. I'm hoping I have a few things different here that make you want to come and visit -- my Taking Care of Business series, Mommies Behind the Blog, the French Five {which a post is way overdue on it}, and my newest series Moments with Sunday which I hope you are enjoying as much as I am. As always, I am open to your suggestions and if there's anything else you want to see, just comment below. I love hearing from you.
Anyway, happy spring! Our weather is warming up for a few days, but the forecast shows our temperatures dropping again in the 40's next week. Hopefully this weather person has it wrong, because I'm ready for some sunny and warmer days.
By the way, something pretty cool happened just last week before I left on my weekend trip. J.Crew asked me if they could repost one of my instagram photos. I mean do they really need to ask. {I know they do.} But seriously, it was pretty cool of them to ask even though they still haven't reposted the photo, the fact they asked was pretty amazing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will repost it soon.
